On Wednesday my Grandma and Grandad came to stay for a few days. They live in Lancashire and I see them lots on Skype but I love seeing them in real life once a month. When they arrived Grandma was really pleased, as Grandad had managed to get here without getting lost! That’s the first time he has managed that, even though Mummy and Daddy have lived here for 8 years.
We had a lovely few days! On Thursday we went shopping and to Clumber Park, where Grandad let me share his ice-lolly. This is the first time I have had an ice-lolly. It was lovely!
On Thursday we went to White Post Farm, where Grandma let me share her ice-lolly. This is the second time I have had an ice-lolly. It was lovely!
I had a great time at White Post Farm! Mummy and Daddy had bought me a trike, which was supposed to be for my birthday but, as it was such a sunny day, they decided to let me have an early present. Grandad built it for me and I rode it all around the farm.
I enjoyed looking at all the animals and I especially loved the piglets. When I said ‘Hiya,’ to them, everybody laughed so I said it again and again. I also liked the pygmy goats but I think that my favourite thing of all was the ice-lolly! π
I loved having my Grandma and Grandad here and I am very excited, as I will see them again in 9 days time, when we go to the caravan. I canβt wait!
