A horrible sickness bug has hit our house. Bob was really poorly last week! She started being sick on Wednesday evening when Michael was working late. I hate seeing my baby poorly! My mummy guilt hit a whole new level as I had to take care of my poorly girl whilst trying to settle my baby and as I was trying to do both I struggled to do either properly. When Bow had gone to sleep I snuggled up with [click here to read on]

Dr Brown's Bottles Review

If you have read my previous post you will know that we struggled to get Bow to take a bottle. I had been sent some Dr. Brown’s bottles, which my health visitor said were the best bottles to prevent colic, and I worried I would be unable to review them. Eventually, after trying many types of bottles and resorting to feeding Bow with my boob on his head, we managed to get him feeding from a bottle and fortunately it [click here to read on]

How To Get A Breastfed Baby To Take A Bottle.

When Bob was born I was very self conscious and I wouldn’t breastfeed when we were out and about. I expressed from the beginning and gave her breast milk in a bottle when I wasn’t at home. This meant that I never had a problem getting her to take a bottle but it did mean that I ended up having problems with my flow. I think I started expressing too early which meant my flow became too fast. Eventually I [click here to read on]

Retro Fun

As some of you may know I am obsessed with retro toys. I started collecting them couple of years ago and I now have lots of blasts from the past. I thought about starting an online shop and even went as far as setting up a website. Life got in the way, however. A year passed, my hosting expired and I didn’t bother renewing it. I may think of something to do with my collection one day but for now [click here to read on]

2 Months Old

I can’t believe how much you have changed in such a short amount of time! You are already a little chatter box and you are always smiling! Until I get out the camera. Every time I tried to take your photograph you looked like a rabbit that had been caught in the headlights. You are definitely a mummy’s boy! I remember your sister liked to be held but she wasn’t fussy about who she was with. You love mummy cuddles [click here to read on]

Ways To While Away The Sleepless Nights

Bob never liked to sleep. I don’t think she managed to sleep through the night until she was almost 4. I used to spend time on Twitter, chatting to people in similar situations across the globe. Unfortunately, I think that Bow may be trying to follow on his sister’s footsteps. He is better at sleeping than she was at this age but he is very unsettled from 2am. I think that he thinks that 2am is a reasonable time to [click here to read on]

My Name Tags Review

Bob needs much more school uniform than I anticipated. At the start of the school year I bought her 5 polo shirts (1 for each day), 3 pinafore dresses and 2 cardigans. I thought this would be plenty as our washing machine is on constantly. I then realised that Bob was very messy. Every day she comes home covered in paint, play dough, marker pen or her lunch. I tried to keep up with her but I soon realised that [click here to read on]
