I am a huge fan of the Great British Bake Off!
I was a bit late to the party and only got into the series last year. For some reason I thought it would be like Great British Menu and I am not a fan of that show. When my friend realised that I hadn’t watched GBBO she was so shocked and she insisted that I must. I loved it immediately and was sad to have missed the first few series.
I watched the final last night ad I somehow managed to avoid the spoilers on social media and not find out who had won beforehand. I was pleased that Nadiya won as I think she has grown from strength to strength throughout the programme and she has been brilliant for the past few weeks.
There are so many things from the series that I want to try out but time is a bit limited at the moment. Attempting to put a chocolate sleeve around a cake will have to wait until I am not constantly feeding and changing nappies.
Bingo Find have created the Great British Bake Off by numbers which contains some interesting facts about the show. I love that they have used 2400 eggs throughout the programme!
