We have had many lovely days out this summer. From picnics at the park to adventure filled days in theme parks.
I thought that I would share a few of our favourite days out with you in case you need any inspiration.
We have spent several days at Wheelgate Adventure Park. Wheelgate isn’t far from our house and we had a season pass. This ran out last month and as we are moving we haven’t renewed it.
We love Wheelgate! It is a strange mix and my first impressions were mixed but as we explored I realised that it has everything! From swings to rollercoasters and from sand pits to a huge splash water park.
Bob loves going to Wheelgate and I think she will keep asking to go there long after we have moved.
In June we went to Nickelodeon Land. My parents live in Blackpool so we tied in our day with a visit to their house. It was raining but this meant that the park was quite and Bob had a private show from many of her favourite characters. I loved the fact that there was constantly a character for her to meet. They swapped every 30 minutes and there was always someone on the character stage.
Bob could go on most of the rides in Nickelodeon Land which was great but she was a bit disappointed when I told her that she wasn’t big enough to go on the Big One. Crazy child!
We had to go on Dora’s World Voyage 3 times in a row. It was a good job that I quite enjoyed it too. It reminded me of a mini It’s A Small World. Bob had a great day and keeps asking when we are going to see Dora the Explorer again!
We were also lucky to be invited to CBeebies Land last month. Bob loved it here too! The characters weren’t out as often as the ones at Nickelodeon Land but the shows were better.
Bob also loved the rides! I think that Postman Pat’s Special Delivery Service and the In The Night Garden Boat Ride were her favourites.

We adore going to Paultons Park – it is right near us and we love seeing Peppa Pig.
If we lived near Paulton’s we would never be able to leave! We have been once and Bob loved it! x

I would love to take my daughter to Peppa Pig World.
Peppa Pig world was brilliant, bit far from us in Cardiff, but well worth the trip to see my daughter’s little face
