Pregnancy Diaries - 5 Weeks

This post was written on the 31st of January whilst I was still keeping my pregnancy a secret. I have heard it said that no two pregnancies are alike. If mine are anything to go by that’s true. I never suffered with morning sickness in my first trimester with Bob but I did suffer from all day sickness in my third. I ended up being hospitalised as I was severely dehydrated. In the beginning I never felt sick. With this [click here to read on]

A Rainbow Baby

This post was written on the 21st of January whilst I was still keeping my pregnancy a secret. My husband and I had been trying for a baby for a couple of months. In November I had a feeling that I might be pregnant. From the day that I ovulated I was obsessed with bacon. I normally like bacon but I could not get enough of it! After about a week I also wanted to pour the salt pot into [click here to read on]

A Little Announcement

4D Scan - My Pregnancy Diaries

I didn’t think that I would want to have a 4D scan. I had seen images from my friends scans and, to be honest, some of them were quite scary. When the constant sickness started I panicked that Bob wasn’t getting the nutrition she needed. Pregnancy Problems - My Pregnancy Diaries

I didn’t suffer from morning sickness in my first trimester. In fact I had very little sickness until I was about 24 weeks pregnant. From then on I couldn’t keep anything down! Almost everything I ate made me sick. The only things that kept me going were Cadburys Buttons and  Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. I worried that Bob wasn’t getting the nutrition that she needed but my midwife assured me that she would take everything from me and that I would [click here to read on]

Sex?!? - My Pregnancy Diaries

We thought long and hard about whether to find out the sex of our baby at the 20 week scan. To begin with we thought that it would be nice to have a surprise. To ring people and say ‘It’s a…!’ rather than ‘he/she is here’ seemed much more exciting. After a few weeks of watching One Born Every Minute we changed our minds. I watched several deliveries where they did not know the sex of their baby. By the [click here to read on]

I'm Pregnant! - My Pregnancy Diaries

I knew that I was pregnant before the test did. I was at work and I was getting strange stitch like pains all over my tummy. This however wasn’t what convinced me. Before I continue I should give you a bit of background information. I worked in a Primary School in Foundation Stage 2. The lower primary team was all women but we did have a male and a female toilet. (Trust me this is relevant!) I am very odd [click here to read on]
