We are a bit Apple crazy in our household. Now I know how good Apple products are there is no going back. Between us we have 2 Macs, an iPad, an iPad mini and several iPhones. The problem is that they are a bit too delicate for me.
The reason we have 2 Macs is because the first one broke. We were told it would cost more than a new 1 costs to repair so we bought a new one. We then went to collect the old Mac and the rescued files. I turned it on just out of curiosity and it worked. I can only think that they were quoting for repairs to make it brand new, e.g. A new keyboard as it had a dent in it. This was very sneaky. Fortunately my husband needed a laptop and he was very pleased with the old Mac.
Both iPads are cracked. In my defence I am only responsible for one of the smashes. Many of the phones have also seen better days and my old iPhone is on it’s third screen. Again, I have had some help with this.
As Bob gave me a helping hand with the damage she is now banned from using my iPhone or my iPad. Luckily we have several old iPhones lying around the house so I have allowed her to use one of those. She loves watching You Tube and playing games. She has an InnoTab
I have recently discovered that it would be possible to sell old iPhones online. I have been asked if I would like to trade in my old phone at the time of upgrading before but I always worried that I would need a spare. That is why we have ended up with several phones. Now that I know that there is a way to sell my iPhone I may have to have a clear out. The extra money would be very handy for Christmas!
I don’t think Bob will be willing to part with hers though. Come to think of it, I don’t think I would be willing for that to happen either. She isn’t allowed to use it all of the time but when the going gets tough it is a wonderful way to get 30 minutes peace!
