My friend got married last year. She has been with her partner for 20 years, they have lived together for many of those, they have two children and she thought he would never ask! Eventually he popped the question. She was over the moon and began planning their special day.
Their wedding was so much fun! They have two boys, one of them was 4 and one was 8 and they were a big part of her day. I loved this!
Her eldest had recently started learning how to play the guitar at school. I took him along to a couple of my guitar lesson and my teacher put together a little song for us to play. We played it as they signed the register. He was so nervous but he did really well!
The service and the speeches were lovely. It was then time to party! They had so many activities to keep everyone entertained. There was a motion surfboard, this was similar to a bucking bronco. There was a marry-o-ke! We were all filmed whilst we mimed the words to Loveshack. This was then made into a video montage which I can’t wait to see. There was also a photo booth.
You stood in front of a blank screen and had your photograph taken. They had so many props and people were queuing up to have their photographs taken. Some people went back several times as there were so many fun props to choose from. You could even have your photo taken behind different scenarios.
You were then given the photographs to take home. It was great fun!
I think photo booths are a great addition to any party! There are some great ones available including the OMG Photo Booth.
We had a wonderful time at the wedding and I think everyone else did too!
It was lovely to see our friends finally tie the knot and to share their special day with them!
