I love wooden toys, there is something so timeless about them!
When I was asked by Wooden Toy Shop if I would like to review some of their products I was so excited! I spent hours searching their website and struggled to choose what to review. I felt like I was ordering products for myself not for Bob. 🙂
In the end I decided on a selection of wooden food. I am thinking of getting Bob a wooden kitchen for Christmas so I thought that some wooden food would be perfect! I chose a breakfast set, a tea set and a selection of cakes.
When the products arrived I couldn’t wait to play with them! Bob seemed quite excited about them too. 🙂 We had a lovely afternoon in the garden under the trees.
It was so lovely to go back to basics and not have noisy electrical toys providing a backing track to our fun.
The tea set and the breakfast set were beautiful! They were painted lovely colours and had lots of lovely details. The toast popped up when you pressed the wooden handle, you could cut the top off the egg and slice the butter and the biscuits could be separated so you could just ‘eat’ the cream if you wanted, just like in real life!
The selection of cakes were much simpler but they still provided lots of fun. Bob wanted to ‘taste’ every one and she also enjoyed arranging them on my cake stand.
After I had finished taking photos I spent the rest of the afternoon lying on a sun lounger giving Bob my food orders and having delicious wooden food delivered to me. Relaxing and good for the waistline! 🙂

Oh my goodness, I adore this! CK has a wooden kitchen and he loves it. It’s been one of my best buys for him. I’m adding this to his Christmas list though as it would make a wonderful addition to his ‘restaurant’. Lucky Bob getting to review something so fab (and she looks so cute too her ‘out to tea’ outfit).
They do look lovely. I’ll be honest I would love to get my wee man a tea set but hubby is being a bit traditional about it all 😮
I love wooden toys too and these look fabulous – especially love the eggs!
