I was worried about how Bob would react when her baby brother came along. It has been just the 3 of us for so long and she has had all the attention.
I wanted to make the transition as easy as possible for her. I kept talking to her about how wonderful having a baby brother would be and how she would make an amazing big sister! I made her feel very grown up and special.
I wanted to get her a present from her baby brother but I wasn’t sure what to get. I was then asked if I would like to review a personalised book from I See Me. When I saw the book entitled ‘The Super Incredible Big Sister‘ I knew that I had found the perfect present!
I had to send some details and a photograph of Bob so that the book could be personalised. I couldn’t wait to see the finished product!
The book arrived a few days before I went into hospital to be induced and I wasn’t disappointed. It was gorgeous!
It came with a medal for Bob to wear and the photograph of her inside the cover made me well up with pride!
The book is written in rhyme and the text is personalised throughout.
Not only was the text personalised, the images were too! Their names were written throughout the images in colourful word art. There was also a little girl and her baby brother which looked just like Bob and how I thought that her baby brother would be. This was just a coincidence but when Bow was born with brown hair it made me even more certain that this book was the perfect present!
Bob loves her book and she often asks to read it at bedtime.
She has even asked if she can read it to her baby brother. I knew she would be a wonderful big sister!
