Still catching up with the posts that I wrote whilst I was keeping my pregnancy a secret.
10 weeks pregnant – our baby is the size of a strawberry.
I have been comparing information from The Bump, Baby Centre and parents.com when I have taken my fruit photos. Some weeks they say the same but other weeks I have different fruits to choose from. Until now I have managed to choose a fruit from one of the sites but this week I wasn’t keen on my choice.
At 10 weeks my baby is the size of a kumquat or a date. I couldn’t find a kumquat in the supermarket and I didn’t want to have my photo taken with a wrinkly, old date.
I thought a strawberry would be a similar size. Last week was a cherry and next week is a lime and I thought a decent sized strawberry would fit nicely between the 2. No science or measuring went into this decision so don’t quote me on it! 🙂

I love it! Especially the thought process behind the fruits chosen – I do hope this series will end with a big old fruit salad or something even more yummy made from all the delicious fruit?!
That’s a really good idea! Might have to do that! xx
