Last week saw the first of Bob’s tantrums! To say I was shocked is an understatement! She was happily playing with her shape sorter bus when, all of a sudden, she started screaming and hitting the bus. I was convinced that she must have hurt herself. Maybe she had trapped her finger? By the time I got to Bob she had pushed the bus away and was still screaming. On closer inspection I realise that something terrible had happened! Bob hadn’t trapped her finger, she hadn’t hurt herself but (wait for it…) the door of the bus had come off and had gone inside the bus where she couldn’t reach it!!! I think she coped very well considering! ;0)

I had been given my first insight into terrible tantrums! Luckily we weren’t in a supermarket. When I told my friend Catherine about Bob’s tantrum and said that I thought that the terrible twos had arrived already, she kindly informed me that the terrible twos do tend to start at around 1 year old and they last until they are about 18! Thanks Catherine!

I look forward to hearing what your little ones got up to this week. Link up your tantrums and tiaras below so that we can all laugh together. It is better to laugh than to pull your hair out!!! ;o)

Ha ha welcome to the world of tantrums! It is a long and uphill battle, good luck!

I hate to agree, but your friend is sooo right!! My daughter is 12 now and has a daily tantrum. Only problem when they get older is the tantrums become a barrage of verbal abuse and can often reduce you to tears!

Enjoy the terrible twos while you can.

    ‘Til 18 eh? Great…

that sounds like a proper tantrum! I’m sorry I haven’t contributed this week. I can’t remember anything particularly noteworthy & stroppy this week, although i’ts possible I’ve just had my rose-tinted glasses on. 🙂

No problem. It’s not something you have to do every week, that would be like wishing tantrums on people. ;0) They must have been angels as it’s their birthday week! No need for rose tinted glasses!
