We have been thoroughly enjoying the gorgeous weather recently! Parenthood seems much less stressful when you can be outside. Paint can be splattered, play dough can be trodden on and it doesn’t matter if glitter is poured everywhere.

It is also a great excuse to eat al fresco! Our BBQ has been put through it’s paces and we have had some gorgeous meals on it! I have felt like I have been in Greece as we sat in the sun eating chicken kebabs with tzatziki or fish with stuffed tomatoes. We have also been having lots of picnics and outdoor afternoon teas.

Anyone-For-Tea-

When House Of Fraser asked if I would like to put together a summer outfit to celebrate their summer BBQ garden party campaign I enjoyed looking at all of the lovely clothes on their website. It was a tough decision but I eventually decided on a gorgeous Joules dress, a cardigan and some pumpkin patch shoes.

Posing

Bob looked gorgeous and I wished the dress was bigger so that I could borrow it! It has a gorgeous cream tea design on it and it is perfect for a garden party!

More-Tea

She wore it on Saturday to her friends birthday garden party and she looked adorable! Many people commented on the dress and the outfit managed to withstand a climbing frame, a slide and face paint!

Modelling-New-Shoes

The shoes are very practical as they look like they have shoe laces but it is actually elastic. This makes putting them on a lot easier!

New-Shoes

This outfit is also perfect for a summer wedding. Bob is going to wear it next week to our friends wedding with a pair of white sandals.

Hopefully the lovely weather we are having will continue! I am sure it will last until the final week in August as we go to Devon then and we have probably jinxed it. Sorry!

Disclaimer: I was sent the outfit free of charge for the purpose of this post but all opinions and photographs are my own.
