We love our picnics! Whether we have them indoors or outdoors.

Indoors ones are exciting as you can use proper plates and cakes stands but I think outdoors ones are much more fun!

As the weather has been lovely we have been having lots of picnics. We were sent a picnic hamper and a cool bag from Trespass to review which gave us an even bigger excuse. 🙂

We already have a wicker picnic hamper which is lovely but it is not very practical. If you are driving somewhere then having a picnic near the car it’s great. If walking is involved it is too heavy and bulky.

Trespass sent us a rucksack picnic hamper and a cool bag. They are much easier to transport than the hamper.

In the rucksack there is a big section for all of your goodies and then the front section contains 4 plates, 4 napkins, 4 plastics glasses and 4 knives, forks and spoons.

Luckily I had my friend to carry it for me as, by the time we had crammed it full of treats it was quite heavy. She said it wasn’t the comfiest thing to carry but it is still easier to transport than a large wicker hamper. The little cool bag also came in handy as we took lots of yummy things and even I could carry that. 🙂

We had a lovely picnic in the park.

The only problem was that it was too hot. I never thought I’d hear myself say that!

It was cloudy when we left home but by the time we reached the park the sun was blazing. After a bite to eat and some crazy playing the children were very warm so we left in search of shade.

The picnic rucksack is really handy and I know it will be used very often!

Disclaimer: We were sent the picnic rucksack and the cool bag free of charge for the purpose of this review but all opinions and photographs are our own.
