The Day You Say I Love You

When Bob was a baby I used to wonder how she would learn to talk. I know it’s something that most children do but the concept amazed me. I used to ask friends with children how their speech developed, wondering how they made the leap from single words to full sentences. Nobody seemed to be able to tell me. They knew it had happened but they weren’t sure of the process. As Bob grew I was amazed at how her [click here to read on]

Relaxing Bathtimes

As some of you may know, we live in a rented property. We moved to the village just over a year ago and, although we like it here, we are reluctant to buy as it seems very final. I know you can move once you have bought a house but as we have never owned our own property I feel that if we bought a house we would live in it forever. I also worry about getting a mortgage. A Lovely Holiday In The U.K.

We have recently returned from a wonderful week in Devon. We went to Menorca last year and Bob had an amazing time! She kept asking if we could go back but with our abroad holiday when Bob was a baby still imprinted on my mind, I didn’t want to risk leaving the country whilst Bow was a baby. We have friends in Devon so we decided to spend our holiday there. We stayed on a lovely farm in Kenn. There [click here to read on]

Sleepless Nights & Home Improvements

This week I have really missed my pillow. Bow has been up a lot in the night. I am hoping it is just a growth spurt or a leap. Unfortunately between the two of those there doesn’t seem to be much time for normality. He is still very sleepy but he is very unsettled. I have spent a lot of the night downstairs on our trusty rocking armchair so that he didn’t disturb Michael and Bob. This has been exhausting [click here to read on]

Bob & The Great British Bake Off

I love Great British Bake Off and I am really enjoying this year series! After the first episode I wanted to make Jaffa Cakes and a lime drizzle cake. I have been thinking of some exciting Jaffa Cake combinations and I can’t wait to try them out! Watch this space! Bob enjoys it too. She particularly loved watching the contestants make their gingerbread creations in this week’s show stopper. She decided she would like to make one of her own. [click here to read on]
