I love pac a macs! I have 2 and I think they are perfect to take out and about just in case. My 2 saved me & my friend when we were on an open topped bus in London a few years ago.

When I was asked if I would like to review a Puddle Pac (a pac a mac) from Muddy Puddles I knew that Bob would love one! I was quite jealous as they come in many lovely patterns. There is so much more choice for children than adults!

I chose a spotty one for Bob. My raincoat is polka dot and Bob is always admiring it. Unfortunately my spotty coat is not a pac a mac though.

When the pac a mac arrived Bob wanted to wear it straight away. She was very disappointed when I told her that she would have to wait for a rainy day. The days that followed were very sunny!

Bob kept asking if it was raining with her pac a mac in mind. Then one day her prayers were answered.

Is-It-Raining

It was raining!

Obviously Bob had to unpack and put on the pac a mac all by herself. We were almost late for nursery. 😉

She even managed to zip up her new coat. She struggles with zips on her other coats.

Zip-Up

Bob was very pleased with her new mac!

Although Bob is 4 she has just started to wear age 3-4 clothes. I ordered her a 4-5 in the puddle pac in the hope that it would fit her for a while. It fits her now and I am sure she will be able to wear it next year as well.

Rainy-days

The mac is very lightweight and the inside doesn’t seem like the type of fabric that would get sweaty. One of my pac a macs is very plastic inside and although it shelters you from the rain it makes you melt.

By the time we got to the door the rain had eased. Bob worried that she would have to take her coat off but I explained that it was the perfect coat for when it was cloudy with a chance of rain. 🙂
