It may come as no surprise that I love my camera! I regularly have it with me and I love the photos that it allows me to capture.
That said, sometimes my camera is not convenient. When Bob was in her pushchair I would take it everywhere! Now that I have to carry things I have to think about whether I really need it. I regularly misjudge this and I have lost count of the amount of times that I have said, ‘I wish I had my camera!’
Luckily my iPhone has a pretty good camera and I have managed to take some great photos with it. It is also great for video! When Bob does something fab that I would love to video I don’t have time to get out my video camera. My phone is never far away and it is perfect for capturing the moments that I would not want to miss!
I worry about using my phone to record my precious memories as I have been let down by it before. Last year I was having a few problems with my old phone and I was told that it might be because I hadn’t updated the software. I expressed my worries about this as I have heard of people have problems updating software but I was reassured it would be fine.
I updated the software and my phone froze. It wouldn’t do anything and I couldn’t access my photos and video that were on it. I took it into the store but there was nothing they could do. I was due an upgrade so I didn’t have to be without a phone for long but my photos and video could not be retrieved. 🙁
If only I had known about this little device!
The Sandisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive can store up to 16GB and it is compatible with iPhones, iPads, Kindle Fires and Android devices. I have an app on my phone that allows me to transfer my photographs and videos to the flash drive. I was worried that it would be complicated to use but even I could work it out!
This was a lifesaver on our recent holiday! I used my phone to record many memories in Devon & North Wales and the flash drive gave me peace of mind. I knew that the were being well looked after!
I also took many iPhone photos on our visit to Living Coast in Torquay. There are too many to share in this post but I will tell you all about it soon.
The flash drive can also store music and films and the data can be accessed without an Internet connection. I think this may also come in handy for long car journeys in the future. I haven’t used it for this yet as I feel protecting over my flash drive. It is my photo’s babysitter and I am not sure I want it filling up with Peppa Pig just yet!
Disclaimer: I was sent the flash drive free of charge for the purpose of this review but all opinions and photographs are my own.
I think I need one of those as loosing photos is one of my biggest worries.
