I have been loving the first glimpses of summer. I have even retired my Ugg boots until next winter, this is how much faith I have in our weather! I doubt my decision some mornings when it is quite frosty but by 11am my faith is restored.
Our house that we are living in at the moment doesn’t have a garden and it is also quite a strange layout, which wouldn’t be very practical with a baby on the way. We thought we would be all right without a garden but we have missed it in the winter so we would be lost over the summer.
We are moving house again in April and although I am not looking forward to moving again so soon I can’t wait to be in our new home! It is a lovely house with a garden that seems to have been designed with children in mind. I can almost smell the BBQs.
When I was asked if I would like to review something from Treat Republic I had our alfresco dining plans on my mind. We also have lots of visitors and I like to entertain. I decided to review the ceramic heart dip bowls. I thought these would be perfect for buffets and for BBQs.
We could choose what we would like engraving on the board. I couldn’t decide what to have but then my husband came up with an ingenious idea. ‘Holy Guacomole!’ I loved it.
When the bowls arrived I loved them and I wanted to invite somebody round straight away. This wasn’t very practical as we were in the middle of packing.
The bowls are white ceramic and a good size for dips or nibbles. We decided to have a mini party of our own.
I didn’t even make the dips. Again, I blame the packing, and Bob put most of the dips into the bowls. This was harder work than doing it myself though.
The bowls are lovely and I can’t wait to invite people around for a BBQ in our home!
Disclaimer: I was sent the bowls free of charge for the purpose of this review but all opinions are my own.
