I hate it when Bob is poorly! I always wish that I could be ill instead! Usually when she is unwell she likes to sit with her mummy and have a cuddle, which is fine by me. This time (maybe because she is older, I’m not sure) she was happy to snuggle up until she became tired. Then the challenge began! She no longer wanted to snuggle. She didn’t want my help to go to sleep, she didn’t want to [click here to read on]
Although they are always light hearted and silly, I don’t think that I can write a Terrible Twosday about Bob this week as she has been a super star, even though she has not been well. It was her 1st birthday on Friday. On Thursday she seemed fine but on her birthday she woke up with a terrible cough. She seemed alright in herself and she still enjoyed playing with her new toys. On Saturday we had a Teddy Bears [click here to read on]
We have always shared things with Bob! I have known friends of mine purposely not share their food with a child so that they wouldn’t beg. When I first heard this, I thought it was a bit mean, as we were talking about a child, not a dog. Recently I have started to understand why they did this. I wasn’t looking forward to this, as I still haven’t come to terms with my post baby body. To be honest, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I managed to get everything I needed, including some one-piece swimming costumes. I have a distant memory of wearing bikinis. Pre [click here to read on]
A terrible thing happened last Tuesday! Bob managed to steal one of her favourite things! The sky remote! As I went to take it from her everything turned to black and white!!! Well on the television at least. I tried to get the colour back but nothing worked! Even my trusty technical trick of turning things off and then back on again failed me! My husband was due home so I didn’t panic, as I knew he’d be able to [click here to read on]
I am so glad that I have Terrible Twosday in my life! It makes me see the funny side of everything! Last week Bob did something that would, normally, traumatise me! Instead I smiled, grabbed the camera and got excited about this weeks post. Now for the trauma… When we are home alone I take Bob into the bathroom when I need to go to the toilet. Until recently she would just sit on her mat and play with her [click here to read on]
