I thought that I would show you some of my creations. I will show them to you in chronological order then, hopefully, you will be able to see how I improve. ;o)
I’ll start with a Christmas cake that my husband and I made in 2009. To say he has never made anything before, I think he did really well. He made the Snowman and the Igloo.
The following year I was asked to make some cupcakes for my brother in laws wedding. My friend helped me as they wanted 100 and I wanted them to be as fresh as possible.
Later that year I made my friend a cake for her 30th. I do’t have a picture of the finished cake but I do have some of the icing figures.
Colin the Cauliflower Carol the Carrot
Pete the Pea Pod Oliver the Onion
Then came some more cupcakes for my friends wedding. These are very exciting! Is it a cupcake? Is it an Ice Cream? There is no need to decide!!!
Here is where I think my cake decorating classes started to pay off. I have still got a long way to go but I am quite proud of the cakes that follow.
My Nieces Birthday Cake.
Bob’s Christening Cake

Hopefully I will have some more creations to show you soon. Although my time is much more limited since Bob came along. ;o)

I love your cakes, I’m so jealous of your talent! The one you made for your niece is my favourite.
