After a crazy few days all of our furniture is in place and most of the boxes are unpacked!

There is the small problem of where I am going to put all of my shoes but I am planning a big shrine somewhere. I just have to convince my husband.

Our new house is lovely! It has many more stairs than we are used to but it will save me having to find a gym.

Bob loves it! She has a beautiful new princess bedroom which I will show you when I have chance to get my camera out. She loves the new house so much she has started referring to our old house as, “The rubbish house.’

Our new village seems lovely. There is a lovely park and we can walk to the canal to feed the ducks and look at the canal boats. There is also a gorgeous little pub in walking distance that serves delicious food. Their sticky toffee pudding is amazing!

Everyone that I have met seems so friendly. In the village shop every child that goes in gets a jelly baby and every dog gets a dog biscuit. I don’t think I will be able to walk past the shop without Bob or Sally dragging me inside. 🙂

I love being back up north! I have really missed hills! The midlands is so flat and it is lovely to be able to look out at the beautiful landscape again.

It also feels good to know that I am nearer home. I haven’t had time to visit yet but the other day I saw a bus that was heading to my home town. It was so exciting! I would never see a bus for Burnley in Nottinghamshire!

We are here there and everywhere at the moment as my husband and I still have commitments in Nottinghamshire until the end of the month but I can’t wait until we are settled in to our new life.
