We love going away in our caravan! We have had so many lovely holidays in it and Bob really enjoys them!

I am still wary of going abroad with Bob after our initial disaster. I know she is older now and would probably be fine but I see abroad holidays as relaxing and there is no way they would be that now!

When you have children things are more relaxing when they are entertained. You may not be lying around a pool with a cocktail in your hand but if they are happy you are happy.

We had a lovely time in Devon with our friends recently and we have had many lovely mini breaks with our families. You don’t have the hassle of the airports, you aren’t limited to a luggage allowance and you can have a lot more family fun!

Bob loves holiday parks! She really enjoys exploring the play areas, swimming and going to the beach in the day.

She can’t wait to get to the entertainment in the evening! She has an amazing time at the disco, stares in awe at the characters and sits mesmerised at whatever show happens to be on.

I have seen some lovely parks by Park Resorts. They have a site near our friends in Devon and I am eyeing that up for next year. Bob can’t wait to meet the ‘music rabbit’.

I am definitely happy to have ‘stay cations’ in this country rather than go abroad at the moment. Unless anyone wants to send me to Barabados for a break? 🙂

In collaboration with Park Resorts.

We’ve done a few Park Resort holidays around the UK and have had a great time. There’s a relaxed atmosphere for the kids to charge about and we love the arcades!

I loved caravaning as a child, in fact I still love it now as an adult. You should check out some smaller sites, we always stuck to 5 van sites and it was so lovely, you really are in the middle of know where. So much space to run and play. Ok you don’t have the entertainment, but as children we spent hours reading, playing games, and we made friends with some children who we met up with every year for about 8 years cause we always holidayed on the same site for the same two weeks as they did.
    Amazing memories!!
