Me & Mine – A Family Portrait Project
The Me & Mine Project was thought up by the lovely Lucy who writes the wonderful blog, Dear Beautiful. She asked me to be involved in the project at the beginning of the year and I am so glad that I said, ‘Yes.’
The point of the project is to take a photo of you family (yourself included) once a month.
It is more challenging than I thought it would be to capture a family photograph. We spend a lot of time together but I am usually behind the camera. It may be a challenge but the results are so rewarding!
Before the Me & Mine project started The only photos I had of the 3 of us were from Bob’s christening which were taken by my friends dad. We had only taken 1 family photo in 20 months! Now I have a family photograph representing every month of the year and I cherish them all!
Some of them are planned and some are taken in a rush. Some are when we are dressed up and some are seriously lacking in make up. Each one is very different but I love every one of them as they are of our little family.
