A girl can never have too many dresses! The same applies to shoes and handbags. 🙂 My wardrobe is severely lacking at the moment as my size has altered so much recently. I wish my wardrobe was full of gorgeous outfits perfect for every occasion but in reality it is full of mismatched items that no longer fit me.
When House of Fraser asked if I would like to review one of their dresses I jumped at the chance. I was hoping it would arrive in time for Bow’s christening but unfortunately the first one that I ordered didn’t fit me. I ordered a different dress but I left it too late and I knew it wouldn’t be here in time.
When the second dress arrived I was pleased that the first one didn’t fit. The first dress was nice but the second one was gorgeous!
It is designed by Jolie Moi I hadn’t heard of this brand until I started searching through all the lovely dresses on the House of Fraser website. Their dresses are gorgeous! Many of them are 50’s style and the fabrics they use are stunning! I chose a dress with a beautiful bird pattern on it.
I asked Michael to take some photos of me wearing the dress as I wasn’t sure when I was going to get to wear it.
Bob isn’t used to someone else being the subject of a blog post and I don’t think she was too keen on the idea. She went and put on one of her dresses and came to join me.
She forgot to change her shoes though so her dress was paired with Hello Kitty slippers. I think she looked fab!
I now need a special occasion so that I can wear my new dress. I will have to persuade Michael to take me out for a meal, somewhere gorgeous!
