My house is full of personalised photo products. I have many canvases and even photos printed onto wood. I am always searching for lovely new ways to have my photographs on display as it seems a shame to have them sitting in my laptop.

This year will be Bow’s first Christmas. When I was asked if I would like to review some items from a Treat Republic’s ‘Baby’s First Christmas’ range I was excited to see their oak photo cube.

It is a lovely keepsake box which holds 5 photographs. It can also be personalised further as you can chose the text that you would like engraving on the lid.

I am a huge friends fan and when I saw the sample box on their site with the words from a children’s book that Joey reads to Emma on her first birthday I couldn’t think of anything better to write. I thought about putting Bow’s name and date of birth but those words were so beautiful I wanted our box to be just the same!

I chose 5 of my favourite photographs. Unfortunately I ordered the prints before Bow blessed us with his first smile but I still had some lovely photographs to chose from.

When the box arrived I loved it! I couldn’t wait to see it with the photographs inside. I cut them to size and put them into the frames. The frame backs removed easily. I found it was best to lie the frame I was opening face down.

I loved the finished result!

Treat Republic also sent me a personalised Christmas tree ornament to celebrate Bow’s first Christmas. It’s lovely! Many years ago we started a tradition of cutting the bottom off each of our Christmas trees and attempting to engrave the circle. We didn’t do a very good job of this. This ornament reminds me of the piece of a tree trunk. It is lovely and it would make a beautiful gift for a new baby.

Aww this gift looks lovely. I always love personalised gifts, especially when you’re buying for babies so they can keep them forever. I must also say your children are beautiful 🙂
